We were excited to be at NAILBA this year for our second time and it was great for so many reasons--but mostly, to see some old friends that we’ve known for many years and meet some new ones that we hope to share experiences with for years to come. It was also great to have an opportunity show the industry how far we’ve come and to hear the positive feedback about our offerings.
For IFS this event stands out as one that allows us to showcase our life and annuity products to a group of distributors and insurance carriers who work via several channels, such as indepedant brokerage, direct to marketing, as well as through broker dealers and banks. This group specifically has a unique view of how technology needs to be flexible in order for it to play across the channels easily and grow their businesses better.
This year we received an overwhelming interest in expedite, our eDelivery platform. The response from distributors was positive and they are excited to sign up and start using expedite because of its flexible rules engine and customization abilities at their level. Carriers were thrilled with the fact there was another multi-carrier and third party eDelivery solution available that they could use.
Overall, the event seemed to be a success for everyone in attendance. Kudos to Prudential for shaking up their annual party this year and sponsoring the Spazmatics. They were very entertaining and it was fun to see the crowd having such a good time.
