From the podcast stage to live demos and panels full of the biggest names in the industry, In|Vest 2019 was the place to be last week for the financial services industry. We had the honor of attending the conference for the first time and participating as a demo sponsor. With a conference this size and scale, it’s easy to get lost in the shuffle, but SourceMedia did a fantastic job curating a cohesive event and attracting true industry leaders to share their insights and expertise and spark meaningful dialogue.
Several members of the IFS team had the pleasure of participating in Pershing’s INSITE 2019 last week in Phoenix. The conference featured 36 breakout sessions, 4 professional development workshops, 48 showcase stage presentations, a booming exhibit hall and a wealth of “inspiration, learning and networking.” Our CEO Tim Parsons and Managing Director of Product Strategy Ray Mulligan, along with Account Director Shaun Christensen, braved the desert to attend the financial advice community’s leading conference. As scorching as the weather was, we also got to take part in showing off some sizzling technology and participate in hot conversations around digital transformation, client onboarding and so much more. In a little less than two months, IFS application users from across the country will descend upon Charlotte, NC, for IFS's annual user group meeting, Propel 2018. As we make the final preparations for this year's event, which will be held October 24-October 25, we are reflecting on last year's meeting in Minneapolis, MN. Here is just some of the feedback we received from last year's participants:
IFS attended the ACORD 2017 conference, which was held October 24 – 26 in Boston, Massachusetts. The attendees included hundreds of individuals representing insurance carriers, distribution partners, and solution providers. The agenda consisted of several general sessions and break out discussions with the goal to educate, collaborate and move the ACORD standards forward.
Unless you’ve been living in a cave for the past ten years you’ve seen a segment of the life insurance industry grow by leaps and bounds. This area has to do with direct marketers who sell primarily over the web.
