We are excited to announce enhanced document storage capabilities that will be available as part of the 7.15 release of the IFS Automation Platform. We continue to support interfaces with on-premise document management and storage solutions, including Microsoft Sharepoint, Docupace, Documentum, as well as firm-specific solutions.
But, we now also offer interfaces with several of the leading cloud-based storage solutions, including:
- Microsoft Azure
- Amazon S3
Leveraging these cloud-based solutions allows our clients a high degree of flexibility in meeting their document storage needs. Cloud-based document storage solutions are chock full of rich administrative tools that allow advisors or clients to share information and manage documents. These services are paving the way towards electronic consent and document delivery in lieu of wet or electronic signatures.
In addition to allowing our clients to take advantage of the numerous benefits these document storage solutions offer, this enhancement enables clients to:
- Allow flexibility in the choice of document storage solutions
- Create document repositories across multiple activities, simplifying client storage and retrieval
- Maximize existing investments in document storage solutions
- Remain FINRA compliant
- Provide seamless digital experiences for advisors and customers
Ray Mulligan, our Product Management Director, elaborates: "Since we are in an industry that is highly regulated, documents are still a critical part of so many of the processes we automate, such as client onboarding. These enhancements will reduce the time it takes to open new accounts and process transactions."
Current clients can reach out to their Project Manager to learn how to take advantage of these enhanced capabilities. If you're interested in learning how IFS can help transform your firm's onboarding, asset movement or other processes, get in touch!
